Finally posting about Evelyn's 4/3 1 year birthday!
Evie is now a one year old!
We celebrated by having a little get together for her on 4/2. Some friends came over for pizza and cake. She opened presents and had a great time.
We got her cake from a lady in Cedar Rapids. She also made us cupcakes and put a little E on top of each of them. They were delicious, the frosting was really good.
Evelyn had fun eating her own little cake, but didn't dive into it. She just sort of sat and picked at it for probably almost a 1/2 hour.
Blowing out the candles was kind of funny. Bella and Aiden wanted to help. They are both 3 so they obviously didn't understand the concept of blowing out the candle together. Aiden got to it first and Bella almost had a meltdown. So we relit it for Bella and then again for Elliot and then again for Aiden, so that everyone had a chance to blow it out.

On Evelyn's actual birthday (Sunday, 4/3) we took a trip to the Children's Museum. Both girls had lots of fun. After we got home we sang Happy Birthday again and gave Evie a chocolate cupcake. This time she dug in a little more.
