Isabella's 2nd Ear Surgery

Isabella had her ear tubes put in yesterday morning. Everything went very well and very quickly. We were at the center at 7:45 am. We got her checked in and talked to the nurse and anesthesiologist. She got changed into her gown and played with some toys and before we knew it the anesthesiologist was back to take her away. We just met him in the hallway around 8:45 and he took Isabella away screaming. That part was pretty tough. But then, Isabella was back in the room with us by 9:10, happy as a lark. How they can put her under, do the surgery, and bring her back out of it in that short amount of time is beyond me. We spent a little time in the post-op room and then we were free to go. Isabella did very for the rest of the day. We even ended up heading out to the Iowa Homecoming parade because she was doing well and then the sun came out a bit and the weather seemed to be a little better. Isabella had a really good time at the parade. She waved at everyone, clapped to all the music, and pointed out things she thought were really interesting. It was really cute.

Here are some pictures from the day.
